Terms of Use
Last updated: 11 August 2026
These terms govern your use of the SilkeAI website and your participation in the SilkeAI early-access programme. By using this site or submitting the early-access form, you agree to them. They are governed by South African law, and the South African courts have jurisdiction over any dispute.
Status of the product
SilkeAI is in active development. Nothing on this site is an offer to sell, and no pricing is published. Screens described as concept views illustrate intended behaviour and are labelled as such; they are not recordings of a live system. Features, timelines and the Q4 2026 first-cohort window may change, and participation in a pilot cohort is at our discretion and may be withdrawn.
No tax, legal or accounting advice
SilkeAI is a research and drafting tool for qualified professionals. Nothing on this site, and nothing the platform produces, constitutes tax, legal or accounting advice or creates a professional relationship with you. Legislation, SARS practice and case law change, and outputs may be incomplete or wrong. You remain solely responsible for verifying every citation and conclusion against the primary source before you rely on it or advise a client. Professional judgement, sign-off and regulatory responsibility remain with the practitioner.
Acceptable use
- Do not submit taxpayer information, client files or other confidential material through this website.
- Do not attempt to disrupt, probe or gain unauthorised access to the site or its infrastructure.
- Do not scrape, republish or resell site content beyond ordinary fair use and quotation with attribution.
- Provide accurate information when applying for early access, and apply on your own behalf.
Intellectual property
The SilkeAI name, logo, site design and written content are ours or used with permission. Legislation, SARS publications and case law quoted on this site remain the property of their respective sources and are referenced for professional research purposes.
Third-party links
Where we link to SARS, legislation databases or other external sites, we do not control that content and are not responsible for it.
Liability
The site is provided on an as-is basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, including the Consumer Protection Act where it applies, we exclude liability for any indirect or consequential loss, and for any loss arising from reliance on site content or pre-release outputs without independent verification. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
Privacy
Personal information you submit is handled as described in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms.
Changes and contact
We may update these terms as the product develops, and the date above will change when we do. Continued use of the site after an update means you accept the revised terms. Reach us through our LinkedIn page.
