# SilkeAI

> AI research and drafting platform for the South African tax profession: cited, verifiable, and honest about what it doesn't know.

SilkeAI is being built for South African tax practitioners, attorneys, chartered accountants, bookkeepers and in-house finance teams. It answers only from a closed, curated corpus of South African tax law (Acts, SARS Interpretation Notes, Practice Notes, Binding Rulings, official guides and tax case law) with mechanically verified citations.

- SilkeAI is in development; there is no public pricing and no general availability yet.
- Named after Dr. Aubrey Silke, author of the handbook that taught South Africa its own tax law.
